Twenty-seven Dresses

The Binx is a girly-girl. And she came that way. I don't care what the "experts" say. In the case of my child, nature beat nurture by a mile.

She likes dolls, princesses, lip-gloss, earrings, finger-nail polish and everything in between.

If you ask her what her favorite color is, she will answer "pink" every. single. time.

Lately she has been obsessed with her princess dresses (i.e. her dress ups) and has insisted on wearing them everywhere. She doesn't understand why we require her to wear clothes underneath.

Earlier today dressed as Belle, playing the Piano...

She has also started on insisting that she wear dresses and if she isn't wearing a dress than she isn't a princess.

So, tonight we made the executive decision that Adi's clothing budget would go exclusively to sun dresses for the summer.

We decided to go shopping, but had to pry Adi out of the Belle costume.  We found some really cute summer tops! We thought we might mix it up a bit and had her try them on, and it's a good thing too! We had to fight her to get them on. All she wanted to wear were the dresses.

So, dresses it was! Five new sun dresses to add to her wardrobe full of them.

Adi's version of "Twenty-Seven Dresses" (and believe me, she has at least that many.)
