Carnival!

Today my cousins, Jana and Melissa and their kids, joined me for a picnic lunch here on campus. 

It was a lot of fun and happened to be the perfect day because Independent Study was having a carnival in Brigham's Square. 

The kids loved the cotton candy and otter pops and we all loved playing the balloon dart game. 

Sadly, none of the three adults could pop a balloon...

Happily however, we only had to participate to win some free 80's frat glasses. 

And, while I wouldn't have bought them, I was actually in need of a new pair. So these may just have to do for now. (:

And, what a beautiful spring day. Perfect for a t-shirt and glasses.
