TOMS

In May, Ryan commented on various forms of footwear...

Never say never.

In September, oh a whim, as Ryan and I walked through Nordstroms at Fashion Place... I tried on a pair of TOMS. The size the salesman encouraged me to get was a little snug, and we debated, but with Ryan's encouragement, we walked out with a pair of TOMS.

Red ones to be exact. They were kind of fun.

Although they were painfully tight. I should have saw it coming.

I wore them sporadically, realizing that fall and winter was not likely to be the best time to wear them.

Then one day in early December I looked down...

There was a hole in my shoe!
And I hardly ever wear them.

I was a little ticked. If I am going to spend that kind of money on a pair of shoes, they ought to be worth it.

I went to the Nordstrom here and Orem and asked a sales guy if Nordstrom or TOMS had a warranty policy, and he didn't give me the time of day.

I was even more ticked.

Cue online-chat conversation with TOMS rep, a brief view at my credit card statement, and a quick phone call to Fashion Place, and I had myself a brand new pair of TOMS in my correct size.

Yes, Nordstrom does have a warranty on anything they sell.
Yes, TOMS does too.

So glad I pursued the issue.

Nordstrom loyalty? Perhaps. Maybe in the future when the purse strings allow.

You can seriously return ANYTHING to Nordstrom! I got an expensive pair of jeans that stretched out after a couple of hours of wearing them. I washed them, put them in the dryer and tried again... they still stretched out too much. So, I didn't have the tags... I only had one little sticker that came with them. I returned them for the full price on store credit and got a different pair of jeans... and I had a $10 credit, so I went over to the BP and got a pair of sunglasses, too.
