New do!

Almost two years ago, I asked for this advice. At the time, I'm so glad I read and took the advice of comments written by friends and family. Pregnant is not a time to be making decisions like that. Especially at 38 weeks and 45lbs heavier than the norm.

However, yesterday I took the plunge. I mentioned the birthday festivities, and indicated something about the new do.

So... drumroll please...

Before... (yes, those are my roots, this was taken Monday)

After (although the light makes it look red, it's not.)

My amazing sister-in-law did it as a birthday present! She is bar-none the best colorist I have ever come across. I am definitely spoiled rotten. 

As she did it I told her I might cry, but that it was nothing personal. In the end however I didn't shed a single tear. I love, love, love it. And it was wayyyyyy overdue.
