My Week in Washington

What a whirlwind week. It's hard to imagine that we bought a house considering I've been 2,500 miles away. That having been said, these past few days have been a great time to reconnect with old friends ' and to meet and develop new friends (and maybe, just maybe, get a little shopping done--thank you Zara).

Flying in and out of Reagan

Seeing new city sights (Botanical Gardens)

Seeing new exhibits (Whistler Peacock Room)

Planning my hacienda with built-in courtyards and gardens

Visiting Erin and Adi in the Hart 

Discovering a new food-truck Mecca in Washington (Shelly, this one's for you.)

Walking around the Supreme Court... 

And the Capitol 

Visiting the Majority Leader's Balcony... 

Discovering new "Harry-Potter-esque" streets in Washington 

And spending time with Jose, Maria, and their darling children!
