Time Out

Someone drew on the bathroom door today with crayons and was put in time out. There was no crying, just an explanation of why she was in trouble and that we only draw on designated paper. After an apology from her, and a hug and kiss, we cleaned up the door with a magic eraser.

Adi then picked up her baby and had it drag its hand along the wall. Why? The baby was drawing on the wall and don't worry, the baby was in trouble.

I watched as one by one, the baby, princess, and Stitch were all put into time out for coloring on the walls.

(Sorry for the pants-less child. We're kinda trying the whole potty training thing out.)

Each had a turn in time out while Adi took a rag out of the cupboard and washed where they had drawn. They were all scolded and told only to draw on the paper. After they had all put in their time, they got a hug and kiss and went on their way.
