Ducks in a Row?

I think not. 

Fail. A not-so-friendly word from the DMV.

A couple of weeks ago Ryan and I went to the DMV to get safety and emissions done to renew our registration.

Unlucky for us, our front brakes were at 1/32 and our back brakes were at 2/32. In other words: Fail.

I have searched the internet high and low for a succinct meaning of those little numbers, and while I assume it is the actual thickness of the brake pad, I don't even know what a good number would be.

Nevertheless, a stinging $675 later... our brakes, oil, and registration (ducks) are in a row.
