The Roof - Best View of SLC and Temple Square!
Posted by

November 19th, Ryan and I picked up Adam, the guest speaker that I would be hosting from Washington, and took him to "The Roof". We didn't have much time to eat and see Temple Square, so I figured we'd kill two birds with one stone (despite the fact that I didn't actually know what the Roof entailed because I'd never been there)...
Oh my goodness, the Roof has the absolute best view of Temple Square--even better than being on temple square.
The amazing thing is that the food rivaled the view! When we were seated, our waiter told us that there were over 35 different desserts to choose from! We ate succulent prime rib, gourmet chicken cordon bleu, mouth-watering seafood crepes, delicious lamb, and tender steak medallions! And, that was only the entrees!
The lemonade was amazing--raspberry, strawberry, peach, yummy! The salad was delicious, fresh, and had so many choices for toppings, not to mention their incredible potato salad (and yes, I do consider myself a potato salad connoisseur. And, the waiter wasn't kidding about the desserts! Creme Brulee, mint chocolate cake, berry mousse, the world-famous temple square chocolate covered strawberries to a few of the delectable delicatessens.
All-around it was a wonderful evening and it was a pleasure to introduce our new friend to Utah via a beautiful view of Temple Square and a delicious meal.
