While 2008 was a difficult year to top (read 2008 adventures here), we thoroughly enjoyed 2009 and the events that it brought. Here is a brief list of our 2009 adventures!
1. Ryan started graduate school (January 2009)
2. I introduced Ryan to Washington, DC for the first time together (January 2009)
3. We celebrated our first married Valentine's Day at the Anniversary Inn (February 2009)
4. We drove East across the country (May 2009)
5. McKenzie received her first speeding ticket (May 2009)
8. We celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary! (May 23, 2009)
9. We started summer internships in Washington (May/June 2009)
10. We learned that our first child was due in February 2010! (June 14, 2009)
11. We took an exotic 2nd honeymoon to the Dominican Republic (August 2009)
12. We drove West across the country (August 2009)
13. We ran out of gas for the first time (September 2009)
14. We learned our darling baby is a little girl! (September 2009)
15. We helped Andrew (Ryan's brother) propose to Hannah (October 24, 2009)
16. We welcomed home a wonderful missionary (October 29, 2009)
17. Together we held 8 odd jobs/internships/research positions
18. And... we only moved 3 times!
Happy New Year! We look forward to 2010 that will bring a wedding, birth, two graduations, and a welcome home to mention a few!
