The Nobel What Prize!?
Posted by

Out of the six billion people in the world, I would argue that half, if not more of these individuals have plans for promoting and achieving all kinds of good in the world. But wait, they didn't win the Noble Peace Prize. So how is it that this guy did?
I thought the point of the Nobel Peace Prize was to acknowledge those individuals with a lifetime achievement award for promoting peace, decreasing world hunger, and sacrificing essentially everything for the improvement of world conditions. The issue here? I thought you actually had to promote and achieve something before you could win. Apparently not.
From all of the comments I've heard, Greg put it best, "the line between high school student body elections and the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize just got thinner... a LOT thinner."
