One of THOSE Days

It's been 4 years since the last time I had a cold sore. I recall that I was sleep-deprived and stressed out. Well, here we go again.

Right before our night class I felt a cold sore coming on. This will be the second one I have had in the past month. I think it's trying to tell me something: I am doing too much.
  • 21.5 Graduate Credits (At least they're fun...most of the time.)
  • 10 Hours a week I can work. (Working as a research assistant for some AWESOME professors who are working on a book that will be a big deal.)
  • 8 hours a night that I SHOULD be sleeping.
  • Plus homework, corresponding, planning, applying for jobs, thinking about career options and possible doctorate programs...
But, it's all worth it at the end of the day when I can recuperate and cuddle with my sweetheart. I'm grateful to have such a supportive, sweet, beautiful, and affectionate wife who is just as busy, and even more tired than I am.

So, no complaints from me. Plus, tomorrow we have a fun little date night planned. Gourmet cooking and a movie. (Maybe I'll even be able to talk Kenz into some popcorn!) And, best of all............No talking about school allowed! Just the two of us and baby Adi.

Get ready for a life full of cold sores!! Believe it or not (I didn't when I was in graduate school) it only gets BUSIER!! But with kids it is also super fun! Hang in there!

Have fun on your date night! Enjoy the quiet time together! Babies are totally worth the sleep-deprivation, so you're just preparing for that! :)
