Tonight Kenz and I felt like we were reception-hopping. We had a busy day with a baptism, and two receptions to attend. The first reception we went to was at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and it brought back so many memories of our special day. Kenz often says she could relive our wedding day, or get married again, and I have often been perplexed as to why. But tonight, probably because I have been contemplating the past year and how great it has been to be married to the love of my life, I wished that we could relive that day again. Kenz and I will be married one year on May 23rd!

Reception Hopping

(Not a picture of us tonight, this was actually taken on our honeymoon.)

As I saw the bride and groom, I remembered how absolutely in love I felt the day that I was sealed to Kenz. I remembered the excitement that I felt to start our life together, being excited and nervous all at the same time.
Marriage is a wonderful thing. I love having my loving, affectionate, beautiful, and supporting wife to go through this life with, and to spend forever with afterwards. I am so blessed to be able to be married to my love, my life, my best friend.
I love you, McKenzie!
