Nathan is 16 - Mothers Hide Your Daughters
Posted by

Yesterday Nathan turned 16. I can't believe he's old enough to date and drive! I can't believe he's going to be a priest! It's amazing how quickly time passes. I can actually remember when he was born-that makes me feel old.
Anyway, last night we had a small surprise party for him with a few of Nathan's friends. It was fun and turned out well. My parents made 6 pizzas - about 4 whole pizzas too much. Oh well, pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Chris and Cassy bought some balloons and Ryan and I picked up a cake. (This is a post-candle shot - hence the holes.)
After dinner, cake, and ice cream Nathan opened his gifts. This was the best part because it meant that we got to play...
Ryan and I bought Nathan this game for his birthday, which is ironic because Ryan refuses to play. Last night he said that he is a 'free rider' and enjoys the laughs while others make fools of themselves. I guess that is the good part, right?
