My Incredible Husband and His Internship

This past Sunday, I was so excited that I finally had something to share in the "Good News Minute" in Relief Society! I was thrilled to announce Austin's acceptance into BYU, and to share my wonderful news about the BYU Management Scholarship.

This Sunday, it is going to be even better! 

For those of you who don't know, Ryan and I are both pursuing Masters in Public Administration at BYU. Our program is two years, and requires an internship between the first and second year. Ryan and I have been applying to internships furiously, and took our career trip to Washington DC in January to get a head start. 

Well, as most of you know, my husband Ryan is incredible. He is thoughtful, kind, and sweet, but even more, he is also bright, capable, and highly motivated. Today Ryan received a phone call from a Senior Foreign Policy Analyst at The Heritage Foundation. He wanted to ask Ryan if he had any questions about the internship, and then asked him to be his personal intern this summer. Ryan hadn't even heard back from The Heritage Foundation itself, but Ray was so impressed with Ryan's Resume and expertise that he sought him out! 

I am so proud of my incredible husband! He is such a wonderful example to me, and I can't wait to watch him progress and succeed! I love you sweetheart!
