Day 2: Virginia Visit

Today, Ryan and I drove from Fairfax Station (where we are staying with a cousin) to Ashburn (my hometown). It was a lovely drive, although the GPS took us 20 miles out of the way! I have fond memories of Sunday drives in the Virginia countryside, and I am hopeful they will continue in the near future.

Ryan and I stopped by to visit some old family friends (although technically they are all new to Ryan), which was a wonderful treat. We visited darling Hanna, and she looked amazing considering the surgeries! Harvard be prepared! 

We saw kids who have all grown up, houses that have changed hands multiple times, and an area that has sprung up in just a few short years. 

Hummm... I love Virginia.
