Many of you now know that I was accepted to start the MPA Program at BYU mid-year. We will be moving, primarily due to the fact that both of us will be in graduate school, and neither of us will be in the apartment, ever. I will be taking 20 credit hours so that I can graduate with Kenz. So, we will be living mostly on campus, and not making any money either.
Even though we have loved our apartment, it just doesn't make sense to pay rent for a place to store our stuff and sleep on occasion. So, we are moving here...
It's a little different from our last apartment, but it has a lot of potential. We are going to miss the graffiti because we will have framed walls over it. The Lawyers have invited us to live in the basement so that we can stay out of debt and save some money for internships this summer. We will be finishing this room; it's actually a lot larger than is visible here and it was taken at night with few lights on.
As a side note, if you are ever looking for a real estate agent, Kenz is fantastic. The day we decided to move out and gave our 30 days notice, she already had people interested in renting this apartment. By 10:00 am the next morning, it was rented. We actually will have to move out during break, which is a relief because we won't be moving during the semester. Also, it's great for our landlords because they will not have to worry about the vacancy. Needless to say, Christmas vacation will be spent moving, cleaning, and finishing up our basement room.
