Disappointment

This morning greeted us with this news:

We were pretty disappointed because it would have been something sure that we could count on post-graduation. However, I felt that I put forth my best effort and am at peace with the situation (i.e. I'm not agonizing over anything I could have done better).

So, it's back to the daily grind of job searching I guess (not that we put everything on hold for this one position, but it seemed to be the most promising for the immediate future). At least GAO and NSA are still considering my application. It can only get better from here. What's one more rejection? Eventually someone will take me seriously, right?

Sad, sorry.
Though can I be a little excited that now Teach for America won't pull you guys away somewhere far for 2 years?

Disappointing yes, but you're right Adi, now it really is DC or bust! :)

And Thanks Dan--I take him seriously too. Love you Ry!

I understand the whole process. It doesn't seem that long ago when my husband was doing it. We got offered two jobs and we turned both of them down. It wasn't right and we could NOT deny the feeling. This is a time in your life that you have to give everything you have and put all your faith in the Lord.

You will find a job, when it is the RIGHT job for you and your family! I know the waiting game is no fun. But you want to have the right job and be in the right place!

I hope you don't have to wait to long! :) Good luck
