This morning, despite me tossing and turning all night and Ryan dreaming about doing pairwise comparisons for Christmas presents, I woke up after eight hours of sleep at 6:30ish and grabbed my computer.
I started looking for flights to LA for our test that we were scheduled to take on January 5th... Unfortunately, what had been $505 for two flights and a hotel a few days ago, had turned into more than $700! I started freaking out about being able to pull it off when I had the thought to search itineraries to another testing spot and date to which we were not assigned: Denver on January 12th...
Oh my goodness! It was sooo much cheaper. Only $129 per ticket... so I e-mailed and called the testing services frantically to see if we could change it to the 12th.
Before I knew it, I found out that not only could we take it on the 12th, we could take it on the 14th at noon rather than 8am which meant even cheaper flights and no hotel!
So... less than an hour after I started doing a little searching, calling and e-mailing, I purchased two flights to Denver for the 14th with a same day return for only $238! Amazing.
A blessing? I think yes.
University of Denver Testing... here we come!

Mighty quick trip - doesn't sound like you'll have time to visit us. If you're ever this way again, and it requires an overnight, know that you could certainly stay here!
