First Presidency Christmas Devotional

Last week, Ryan, Austin, and Nathan, and I were able to go to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional. Needless to say it was spectacular!

The spirit was so strong as the Tabernacle Choir sang "For Unto Us a Child is Born" and "O Holy Night"--truly incredible. Now, if I could only find the MP3 version of both of those songs for my iPod!

I really enjoyed the entire program, and especially appreciated the messages of the true meaning of Christmas. It helped me to realized that we need to let Christ into Christmas.

After the program, we walked around in the freezing cold to see some of the lights on Temple Square. I love the different lights, and am always impressed by the majesty that encompasses Temple Square!

I especially love these floating nativity and lit globes...

Now why didn't they have them there at our wedding in May? Huh? Huh? Anyone? Why don't they just keep them there year-round?

We walked pretty briskly through the lights because it was dreadfully cold and Ryan didn't have a coat, but we did manage to snap one pixilated, camera-phone picture. (We had the camera, but alas, no batteries, so we had to take pictures with my phone. Only problem... no flash means no light, no/bad picture.)
