After perusing the Black Friday adds, Ryan and I decided to make one stop: Home Depot. We figured it would be safe and be sparsely populated. We only had one goal in mind: Christmas Tree.
Well, needless to say, we were wrong. Jennifer, Ryan, and I pulled up at 5:59am to a HUGE line, and were just about to drive away as we saw the line start moving--and quite quickly. We rushed to the line and into the store. I asked the nearest sales person where the Christmas Trees were and she said something like "if there are any left, they will be around the corner."
Well, we made it around the corner and they were gone! I was so sad. I had really been looking forward to a real Christmas Tree. We started looking at other trees that were regularly marked, and guess what!? We found a whole stash of trees that hadn't been set out. They had purposely left them in the Christmas Tree section and had said that all of the specials were out on the floor. (Sneaky if you ask me.)
We checked and double-checked the SKU and sure enough there was our gorgeous, 7ft, pre-lit, LED Christmas tree! Yay! We were so excited to get one!
After getting it home, and setting it up, here is the final product decorated and all:
