October Wrap-Up

Considering that November is national blogging month, and some of my stellar blogging cousins post daily for 30 days, November has thus far been a bad blogging month for us. School is getting away with us, and there are so many things to do that sometimes our heads spin! It's crazy to think that Baby Adi is 27 weeks old, Thanksgiving break is just around the corner, there are only 5 weeks left in this semester, AND this month Ryan and I celebrate a year and a half of marriage. Blissful Life, Blissful November.

Anyway, to catch up, I thought I would blog about our Halloween festivities with Ryan and Becky. Right before Halloween, we decided that we would do something 'fall-esque'. We thought a corn maze would be great, but the 30th was cold and rainy, so we took it indoors to a delicious dinner at:

I hadn't been since 2007 when I went to the original Five Guys in Georgetown. It was delicious, better than I remembered (and definitely better than In-N-Out), and looked something like this: (I am starving right now.)

We kept in the spirit of fall by carving pumpkins! I hadn't done this since Ryan and I were newly dating, and it was so fun. We had fun and made some pretty awesome pumpkin art:

By the way, for those of you (like me) who never thought about carving a pumpkin from the bottom, you should try it next time. You cut the hole in the bottom, then you can lift it from the stem, AND, when you put the candle in, it sits further down.

Mmmmmm the thought of Five Guys is making me salivate. It is so delicious!! I'm going to have to agree that Five Guys is better than in-n-out. I've had both and in-n-out isn't bad, but it isn't Five Guys. I hope i don't offend anyone with that. :)
