I Survived and Thoughts on Facebook

The past two weeks in school have been probably the busiest I have ever experienced. At times I actually wondered if I would ever be able to get everything I needed to done. On Friday alone I had two major projects, 5 articles to analyze for work, and a midterm looming over my head. Well, as of today at 9:30 PM, it is officially over! (At least for now.)

I survived another week, and next week looks like a good one to breathe and catch back up on everything. I attribute part of my success to getting off of Facebook. I found that instead of checking Facebook, I would instead work on homework. It is a great thing.

The only drawback: people think I'm crazy, and don't understand why I would deactivate my account. The funny thing is that I feel liberated without Facebook. I do miss keeping in touch with friends and family who are far away, which is the only reason I would go back...

It takes a big man to deactivate his facebook account. It takes a bigger man to... well, you get the idea.

I have thought about doing just this thing to my own account. It is so nice to stay in touch with everyone but it usually just ends up being a big waste of time. I think I'll just go on a facebook fast :)
