Anyway, my office is located right across the street from the National Law Enforcement Memorial, and this week there were thousands of police officers from across the country in the city for the events. I walked by on my way home one day, it was neat. Here are some pictures...

National Law Enforcement Week
Posted by

Well, I have survived my first week at my internship, and it was incredible. It was slow the first couple of days without a computer (last name issue), but after my boss returned from a trip and I got my computer, I am on my way to a great internship. I found out that I'll even get to publish by the end of the summer!

Officers on their bikes.
The entrance to the path, protected by Aslan :)
Flowers and tributes to fallen officers from around the country.
The actual memorial with the names of fallen officers.
I saw this officer making a graphite rubbing of a name on the wall, I thought it was a neat insight and picture.
