Warning: Embarrassing Confessions Within
While Ryan and I were in Washington last week, we were exposed to apartment 689's Family Home Evening. This is no regular FHE. It is an hour full of laughter, silliness, superficiality, romance, and women. Lots of women.
If you haven't guessed already, it was a party a Bachelor Party. And not the swanky, scandalous Bachelor Parties that you are thinking of. I'm talking about The Bachelor.
Adriel and her roommates are addicted to The Bachelor. Each week, they have a Bachelor party to socialize, watch the episode, and gab about their favorite Bachelorette.
Well, a week later, I have discovered that I too am addicted. I eagerly awaited 7:00 last night, and was enthralled by the superficial drama. I finally caught onto some of the girls' names, and learned that I'm rooting for...
Melissa!
I was loving The Bachelor until my true vice aired... yep, you guessed it!
24! There is nothing like the Hour of Bauer Power!

I've never watched it until this season and I too cannot miss it! It's hard because I like both the Bachelor and 24 but they conflict. Looks like you had a great time in D.C.!
Yep. Washington was wonderful! We really enjoyed the city, but the weather was terrible. I love the spring, summer, and fall in Washington. I'm looking forward to May!
What internships do you guys have lined up? Will you be out there the entire summer? How did your new apartment turn out?
Haha, I am sooo addicted to The Bachelor, and I am also rooting for Melissa. I got to know (and love) Jason while watching The Bachelorette with DeAnna (who I hear is coming back to try to get him back after totally shafting him). Can't wait 'til Monday night!
Wow.. I'm so glad I don't have TV up here.. hahaha. I would so be addicted to so many shows! Don't you just love getting caught up in another reality? It's great.
P.S. I'm jealous you guys went to Washington! Love the pictures :)
We are working on some internship leads, and have applied to a few excellent options. It was great to be out there because we talked to a lot of ward members and they have been soo helpful!
And yes Elise, we spent a couple days with Brent and Shelly - it was so great to see them! And, I rode a horse!
YES! for the Bachelor, we have taken in another follower to provide our escape to be salacious gossip when we shouldn't do it elsewhere! ;)
